The dog park is the first thing you'll see when you enterĀ Mimi De Marta Park, where there is paved parking. The parking lot connects right to the dog run, which only has a single area for pups of all sizes to play in. With swaying trees, the sounds of the flowing San Lorenzo River, and a grassy field to play in, this dog park will grab your and Fido's attention right away as a beautiful place to play. When you enter the park, you'll notice a double-gated entrance to get into the park cmposed of a dirt terrain surrounded by grass.Ā
The dirtĀ terrain may get muddy when it rains, but coupled with the abundance of trees and space to enjoy, this park will still be a favorite. Not to mention, there are trash bins, picnic tables, a paved sitting area with benches, clean-up stations, and water fountains for humans and pups. The long run offers plenty of room to run around or play a game of fetch, although the park is right next to a busy road and may get noisy after a while.
With few people and plenty of open space, this park will give you and Fido lots of room to get some exercise, play and enjoy each other's company in glorious off leash freedom!
