There are no membership fees and no registration required for access to this dog park. Water is available at the Oberreider Dog Park, and you and your canine can stay hydrated with the fountains inside both areas of the dog park. The ground level fountains sit on a concrete pad, slightly convex, creating a bit of a splash pad for canines that enjoy that kind of thing.Â
Some agility equipment is available at the Oberreider Dog Park, and there is enough room for some short range games of fetch. There are a few trees inside the fenced area of this park. These trees provide a good deal of shade for the patrons of the Oberreider Dog Park, and some benches can be found at the base of some of the larger ones.Â
Seating is also available in the form of benches near the entrance to each section of the dog park and along the fence line. The grounds here are not grass and instead are bark. This helps to prevent the area from turning into mud after heavy rain, and there is enough traffic that grass wouldn't really stand a chance and it would get worn down quite quickly.Â
Parking is free and readily available right beside the Oberreider Dog Park. There is a gorgeous walking trail that winds its way through the remainder of the park as well. Your canine is allowed on this trail and may be better for you to wear out an energetic canine.
