Pacchetti Dog Park

If you are lucky enough to live in California, or just as fortunate to be visiting here with your fur-ever friend, then getting Fido out into the great outdoors will be of top priority to take advantage of the state’s beautiful year-round temperatures. Check out the Pacchetti Dog Park in Seaside for some off-leash fun for them!

The entire park is well taken care of by the generosity of pup-loving volunteers, and is located in a suburban area of the city where trees are plentiful. A spacious parking lot is situatied at the entrance to the park, so no additional walking will be needed to get your pup out.

Pacchetti has a large, 1.7-acre site which is surrounded by both six-foot and four-foot fencing for Fido’s safety. The entrance is concrete and offers security gates for coming and going, with a common area between for safety. Head the smaller pups to the dedicated area for them. Elderly pups and those shy dogs are welcome in this section as well. Overall, your pup should be less than 30 lbs if they are playing here.

Let your larger dog run with the big boys in the dedicated large-dog run. Both spaces have lots of grass to roll in, dirt to dig in and freedom galore. Bring your pup’s favorite ball and they will have plenty of room to retrieve it. Water fountains are provided – just bring a bowl in case there is none. 

Animal Control frequently monitors this park to make sure all dogs have a proper license and rabies tag. If you live in the Seaside area, a local license is required. Doggie clean up stations are scattered in each section, as well as waste receptacles. Please keep this park puptastically clean for other visitors. Each guest must limit their furry friends to 3 pups each visit.
