Pace Bend Park

Located in the central region of Texas, you will find Pace Bend Park. The Pace Bend Park is the perfect place for fun, relaxation, and quality time spent with your favorite pup. This park is filled with many different recreational amenities and is perfect for anyone. The park is also quite large, ranging at about 1,368 acres and is accessible by vehicle along the paved road that wraps around the park. 

You will find limestone cliffs, coves to explore in, as well as great views of the lake. You will also find many hiking trails, campsites, swim areas, and places for relaxation. It makes for the perfect day out with your family for camping, hiking, swimming, and picnicking. 

When visiting this park, you must follow all rules and regulations that have been implemented by Travis County. All owners must pick up and watch over their dogs at all times and dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before entering the park. Owners must also keep their dog on a leash at all times and the leash must not be longer than six feet. 

In the northeast region of this park, you will also find a dog area that is off-leash. Here, you can let your dog run free and enjoy the beautiful nature that this park has to offer. Throughout the park, you can also take your dog hiking and exploring as there is much to see throughout this park. 

However, dogs are not allowed in certain areas of the park, so make sure and pay attention to all signs while you are exploring. Overall, this park is a popular option for this region of Texas. If you have a chance to visit this scenic and adventurous park, it is highly suggested. In fact, your dog will probably thank you for it in the long run.
