There are plenty of other amenities available, such as fire hydrants, solar lighting to keep the Palm Springs Dog Park lit in the evenings, and a fence topped with beautiful metallic frame art by an incredible artist by the name of Phill Evans.
This park opens early in the morning and doesn't close until late at night, making it a great location for you to come anytime. Tuesday and Friday the park does close for a 3-hour period for maintenance and general repairs. This is between the hours of noon and 3 PM.
The entire area around the dog park is fenced, and there is a separate fenced section for small dogs. There are dog waste bags readily available and garbage tins for you to dispose of the waste in. There is enough room to socialize at this dog park, however, some off-leash games like fetch and frisbee are going to be quite limited due to spacial constraints.Â
The metal fence on the large canine side has gaps large enough for midsized canines to squeeze through. If your canine has a propensity to try and run off, make sure you mind the gaps in the fence and make sure your canine is not able to make it through those gaps.
This park stays very well maintained, and it stays green year-round. That means there is not going to be a lot of mud on your canine as you try and leave the park. For this most part, this makes for a wonderful place to bring your canine to spend some time with other dogs or in the sun.
