Both enclosures welcome and encourage off-leash activity and socialization. To ensure the safety of all the dogs enjoying the play areas, owners should carry a lead with them. Though dogs are permitted off-leash exercise time in the dog play spaces, they must remain leashed on the hiking trails. The Paso Nogal Dog Park is a public dog facility. As such, park officials are pleased to permit access to their doggy play haven at no cost.Â
The Paso Nogal Dog Park and Paso Nogal Park properties are described as incredibly beautiful, tranquil, and picturesque. The trails offer views of breathtaking landscape which inspires feelings of relaxation and refreshment. The dog play spaces encompass two and a half acres of property. These runs are lined with grass, a substance which is gentle on canine joints.Â
There are plenty of trees housed on the grounds as well as picnic areas. It is unknown if water is available in the play areas. For this reason, owners should bring bottled water and a dog dish with them to ensure Fido stays well-hydrated. Complimentary poop bags are provided and should be used by owners to properly clean up after their dogs as is required by law. Bathrooms are not housed on the grounds.Â
Visitors to Paso Nogal Dog Park do note that the area is replete with large snakes at the mouth of many of the trails. Owners should take care that they do not disturb them and inadvertently end up bitten. Dogs enjoying the play areas must be up to date on all vaccinations and registered with their city. Tags must be worn on their collars which prominently display this information. For a relaxing day in a beautiful California park, plan a trip to Paso Nogal Dog Park!Â
