When you come to explore at Patrick's Point State Park, you will find many different amenities for your enjoyment. You can look for agates, find tidepools, hike, explore the ocean life, and so much more. In this park, you will also find a visitor center, a native plant garden, and a reconstructed Yurok plant-house village.Â
If you come in the summertime, you can watch a traditional ceremony occur at Sumêg Village, or you can join in on guided tours. Dogs can also visit Patrick's Point State Park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay. They cannot go to the beach or the trail area.Â
During your stay at Patrick's Point State Park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the Northern Region of California. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home.Â
Dogs must be well-mannered before they come to Patrick's Point State Park as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. Humans should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in this park.Â
