The Paws Park is a dog park in Buellton, California. This dog park, a once upon a timepiece of wasteland, has been lovingly conditioned by a group of volunteers to provide an off-leash dog park for the pups of Buellton. It's a fairy tale ending for the local pooches as this is a stunning dog park. While it may not have a proper parking lot, there are usually plenty of spaces on the street leading up to the dog park.Â
Drivers of vehicles are asked to park responsibly and respect the neighbors of the local vicinity. Which basically means - don't block their driveways. The Paws Parks of Santa Ynez Valley Inc who created this three-acre dog park in Buellton did a great job. They've provided spaces for both small and large dogs with separate enclosures. Both of which are fenced with split timber and wire mesh.Â
There are grassy hillocks for the pups to expend their energy running up and down, trees and a wash station hose for showering them if they get too overheated. There might not be quite so many amenities for owners in this dog park, but that doesn't matter as it's the dogs who come first. Owners can make do with a couple of pavilions and some seats.
While the Paws Park Off-Leash Dog Park at Buellton Park is a little piece of doggy paradise, it does still have its rules and regulations to abide by. The primary rules are posted at the entrance to the dog park and all owners using the facility should read them, understand them and abide by them.Â
Both of the off-leash areas have been facilitated with enough poop stations to poop scoop after an army of four-legged fur babies. Cleaning up pet waste should be treated as a military exercise. It needs to be done, and it needs to be done efficiently. Keeping this amazing dog park clean means pups will have a place to play off-leash for a long time to come.
