Pineview Dog Park - Huntsville

The Pineview Dog Park is a large grassy dog park that allows dogs to run off-leash in a fenced-in environment. There are plenty of tall trees that surround the outer part of the park which provides plenty of shade on hot days. There are also benches and picnic tables located throughout the dog park for pet parents to relax while they watch their dog play. 

The dog park provides a water fountain that has an extra spigot to fill up dog bowls. There is a large community water bowl for the dogs. However, you can bring along a water bowl from home to prevent your dog from sharing water with others. 

Pet parents must display a license tag on the collar of their dog when visiting this park. Dog owners need to keep a leash on their dog before and after visiting the park. Always remove the leash once you are located inside the designated park area, and the entrance gate is closed. Closing the gate helps prevent your dog from away and into areas where dogs aren’t welcome. 

Dog feces need to be cleaned up by dog owners. Bring doggie poop bags along with you every time you visit the Pineview Dog Park to assure you adhere to this mandatory rule. There are trash cans located nearby the dog park to dispose of the poop bags properly. 

Pet owners are required to remain inside the dog park with their dog at all times. Owners must always carry a leash in their hand and maintain verbal command over their dogs. Aggressive dogs need to be removed from the dog park immediately. Avoid attempting to take control of someone else's aggressive dog. 

Overall, the Pineview Dog Park is a quaint park with trees, shade, green grass, and a secured fenced-in area. As a pet parent, you can relax on the benches while your dogs play, run, and socialize with other dogs.
