The largest of all off-leash dog playgrounds in the Manhattan Beach area, Polliwog Dog Run is an extremely pawpular spot. You get the best of both worlds when you visit here; a pawsitively awesome family park AND a doggy play haven all rolled up into one! Polliwog Dog Run doesn't have a separate spot for the littlest pupperonis to call their own, but they are welcome to join the canine pawrty animals in the one on-premise dog run. You'll want to make note that to prevent injuries the maximum number of dogs allowed in the play space at any one time is 20.
Off-leash play is encouraged at Polliwog Dog Run, but you will still need to bring your lead with you for when you pop over to the family fur-iendly Polliwog Park to check things out. The dog playground is essentially an area where your fave pooch can enjoy a vigorous run. You should pack a bag that includes drinking water and cleanup bags as you will need them during your visit to the park.
If you wander to the family-centric Polliwog Park with your fave pooch, you will not be disappointed. Fido may join you here in all areas except the following spots: the pond walking path, the amphitheater, and the areas dedicated to fitness.
This furrific dog run has a few rules in place that you must adhere to. All doggoes visiting the playground must be up to date on vaccinations and sport a city dog license tag. Though pooches of all shapes and sizes are welcome at this pawrific dog park, they must be spayed or neutered once they reach the age of one year. For the safety of all dogs, leave the Scooby Snacks at home as no food is permitted on the grounds.
