Here, you will find three fenced-in areas, dog pens for use, an open field for dogs to run around and play, picnic benches, and a water source for your dog to drink from. Yet, reservations at the dog pens take priority even though the dog pens are open for public use throughout the week. All dogs are also required to be on-leash before entering and exiting the three designated areas that are fenced-in.
All owners at the Poway Community Dog Park must also follow the rules and regulations that are implemented by the city of Poway. In addition, dog owners must watch over and pick up after their dogs at all times and all dogs must be licensed, vaccinated, and tagged before coming to this community park.
Also, you are responsible for your dogs and you should know that they are to play at their own risk. If you bring your dog to the other areas of the Poway Community Park, your dog must also be on a leash at all times and it is recommended that the leash is no longer than six feet long.
Overall, this dog park is a great addition to the Poway community. Most who come here love all that it has to offer, especially with the three different areas that are designated for small, medium, and large dogs. Whether your dog is a Chihuahua or a Saint Bernard, he will absolutely love this park so head on over and check it out.
