Richmond Street Dog Park is a fun-filled off-leash dog run located in Boston’s North End neighborhood. This dog park has one fully-fenced area that’s open to pups of all sizes. The park is open 24 hours a day, making it perfect for both night owls and early birds!
In 2013, Richmond Street Dog Park underwent an extensive renovation. During this renovation, a new gravel ground covering was put in. This ground covering keeps your pup from getting messy while they’re playing, and it’s comfortable on their paws. While your dog plays, you can watch from the park’s wooden bench, which was also added during the renovation.
The park is equipped with a ton of lights, allowing your pup to play safely at night. There’s plenty of space for dogs to run around in the off-leash area. Plus, the dog run is also great for playing games of catch or Frisbee with your pup!
The dog park also has a beautiful garden filled with lots of plants and flowers—the garden is fenced off to keep it safe from curious pups. There’s also a trash can, doggy bags, a broom, and pick-up shovels, making it easy to clean up after your dog while they’re in the park. There’s no drinking water available in the park, though, so it’s a good idea to bring some with you. Also, be aware that shade is limited in the dog park.
Richmond Street Dog Park is a pawesome place to take your pup for some off-leash time in the North End! Remember to clean up after your furry best friend while you’re out at the park, and have a great time at this park with your pup!
