One of the best perks of this park is that it is completely fenced-in, but otherwise surrounded by calm streets and lanes of family neighborhoods. A small parking lot is available at the southeast corner of the park, along with off-street parallel parking spots along the outside of the park. Once inside, a perimeter sidewalk trail encompases the area, with plenty of shady spots to relax and sit under to rest. The western half of the park is the most open, with a large grassy field with two baseball diamonds.
Back near the parking lot, restrooms are available, and a sidewalk continues along to meet other amenities, such as a shaded path with palm and limbo trees next to the park's fieldhouse. North of that spot are enclosed basketball courts, a playground, volleyball courts, a picnic pavilion with tables and trash bins, clean-up stations, and water fountains near the playground. Throughout the eastern side of the park, grassy fields offer spots for fido to play in the grass. Benches line the pathways too, offering places to sit and enjoy the sights of the park.
This Miami park gem is a gorgeous one, with an extensive playground and an area that's pawrfect for bringing Fido to enjoy. Roberto Clemente Park is sure to become a favorite spot for you and your pup.
