When you visit Seasons Dog Park in La Quinta, you'll mostly see a beautiful and sunny day that fills the dog park with lots of sunshine and light. Due to its southern location in California, the park doesn't see many seasonal changes, but that makes it all the better to take Fido to this quiet and secretive park year-round.
The park doesn't get too popular thanks to its location, even though its public and open to everyone to visit. When you do visit with Fido, you'll have to park at an off-street parking area along the sidewalk that connects to the dog park. Concrete paths lead to the separate areas of a large and small dog area, where there are separate double-gated entrances for each section. The small dog area is on the small side, and provides a mixture of the concrete and grassy area to play on, with water fountains, clean-up stations, trash bins, and a pavilion that offers shade over benches and a picnic table. This area boasts all the features you will want in a small dog area, although the large dog area is the real gem of this dog park.
Compared to the small dog area, the large dog area has nearly 10 times the amount of space covered in grassy rolling hills that make up the terrain, with trees, benches, a pavilion with a picnic table, water fountains for humans and pups, clean-up stations, and trash bins to use. No matter how big your pup is, they will have plenty of space to run in this park, either with other pups or with you and a nice game of fetch.
Although lacking in shade, this park is still a spacious and quiet option to take your pup when you want to give them plenty of space to play.
