While dogs are permitted off-leash access in the designated off-leash zones, they must remain on lead in all other areas. The Smithville Bark Park offers entrance to their tranquil, country dog playground free of charge to the public.

This quiet, rural park has put in place a few rules for visitors.
Dogs visiting the play areas must be current on all vaccinations and in possession of a City of Smithville dog license. In addition to this, Smithville Bark Park prohibits food, drink, glass or metal containers, and cigarettes as well as choke, spike, prong, or pinch collars.
