There is also an enclosure designated for use by dogs who are small, timid, or elderly. Both play areas were designed with off-leash activity and proper socialization in mind; however, to ensure the safety of all dogs, it is mandatory for owners to keep a leash with them when on the grounds.Â
South San Francisco Dog Park invites all visitors to enjoy their public dog playground at no cost. Situated within both dog park areas is agility equipment to help keep Fido's brain and body sharp. Also provided at this dog park are drinking water and poop bags.Â
Owners must take full responsibility for cleaning up after their dogs as required by law. Since the park occasionally runs in short supply of bags, owners should bring some extra with them from home. Bathrooms are not available on the grounds of this public dog play haven.Â
Comfortable seating is scattered throughout the property in areas that offer shade. Here, owners can relax and enjoy chatting with other owners while together they observe their dogs at play. This 1.8-acre dog play haven is much beloved by dogs and their owners alike.Â
Many remark on the unique beauty of the large sculpture titled "American Dog" by Dale Rogers, which takes pride of place at this park. Visitors to this play space must observe a few general rules. Dogs must be fully vaccinated as well as licensed with their respective city. For a great day of fun for Fido and the whole family, plan a trip to South San Francisco Dog Park!Â
