Located in the magnificent region of Texas, you will find the Steeplechase Dog Park. This dog park is a great place to take your dog for some afternoon fun in the sun. Since 1999, the Steeplechase Dog Park has been alive and running for dogs of all types. This park is a much-loved place within the surrounding neighborhood, and its final renovations finished in early 2006. Overall, the park totals around nine acres.
When you come to the Steeplechase Dog Park, you will find many attractions for dogs, families, and even children. Along with the famous dog park, there is also a jogging trail which totals out at a half a mile, a basketball court, a wash and drinking station, picnic areas and shaded gazebos, barbeque pits, two play areas, and an open area for fun.
Dogs are allowed in all parts of this park. In fact, it is even encouraged that you take your dog over to the new dog park that opened at the beginning of June while you are visiting the Steeplechase park. If your dog is not at the dog park area, they must be on a leash at all times, and all owners must watch over their dog. Humans must follow all rules and regulations as well, of course.
Dogs play at their own risk as well as children, and dogs under four months old or in their heat cycle are not allowed in the park. Owners must pick up after and watch their dogs at all times, and only two dogs are allowed per owner. This dog park is fenced-in for some off-leash fun, and all types of dog breeds are allowed in at this dog park. If you have a chance to check this dog park out, it is highly suggested. Overall, Steeplechase Dog Park is a great place for all dogs.
