Small canines and toy breeds will not be able to fit through this fence as you would assume from a wrought iron fence. The lower section of this fence has bars at a much higher frequency leaving just an inch or two between them. This black fence stands quite tall and surrounds the dog park. The Stoney Creek Dog Park has a lot of space.Â
There is plenty of space for games like fetch or frisbee and some wide open fields for your canine to stretch their legs and wear themselves out. Even the most energetic of canines will leave this park exhausted. Several large trees can be found at Stoney Creek Dog Park. These trees provide a great deal of shade to the patrons of this dog park.Â
Benches are placed along the fence line and underneath some of the larger trees. This makes the atmosphere at the park much better then you would typically expect at a desert dog park. There is green grass here, the grass stays in good shape and well maintained. The park and all of the facilities throughout it are are clean and the city does an excellent job of keeping them up to date.Â
The Stoney Creek Park, the park surrounding the dog park, has activities for everyone. They have a pool, a playground, sports fields, walking paths, etc. The Stoney Creek Dog Park is a great place to spend a few hours in the sun with the family, no matter how many legs.
