Sunnyview Dog Park

Sunnyview Dog Park, also known as Turlock Dog Park, is one of two area dog playgrounds in Turlock, California. This dedicated dog play space offers two fully fenced areas where dogs can enjoy romping, roughhousing, and wrestling all without the encumbrance of a lead. 

With the needs of small, senior, and shy dogs in mind, one of the enclosures has been designed specifically for their use. Here, a calmer play style reigns to ensure the safety of all dogs. Though off-leash activity is permitted in the dog runs, owners must still carry a lead with them at all times. 

Sunnyview Dog Park is a public dog playground. The park management is pleased to permit all visitors to enjoy their dog facility at no cost. Housed within the runs are benches in areas with shade provided by multiple trees. This ensures that owners and their dogs remain cool and comfortable at all times. Water is also available in the dog play spaces to allow Fido access to quench his thirst. 

Bathrooms are available on the premises for public use. It is not known if complimentary poop bags are provided; however, owners are responsible to clean up after their pets promptly. Though Sunnyview Dog Park earns high marks for its lovely grass areas and commitment to cleanliness, visitors to this park space note that the neighborhood the park is housed in is rather suspect. 

There are several rules in effect for dogs making use of Sunnyview Dog Park. Access to the grounds is only available to dogs who are spayed or neutered. It is also mandatory for all dogs to be vaccinated and licensed with the city. Proof of vaccinations and city dog licensing must be worn on your dog's collar via tags.
