Description

The Torrey Pines Dog Park, which is also known as Murrieta Dog Park, is a much-loved dog playground in Murrieta, California. This large dog facility earns the distinction of being Murrieta's first park dedicated to off-leash exercise and play.

Spread out over 8.8 acres of land; this dog play haven offers two fenced play spaces where dogs can roughhouse, romp, and play all without the need for a lead. To ensure that small, senior, and shy dogs have an area best suited to their needs, one of the enclosures has been reserved exclusively for their use.

The management team of Torrey Pines Dog Park is committed to providing a safe space for off-leash activity and proper socialization opportunities. To help fulfill this mandate, safety measures have been put in place for the well-being of all dogs enjoying the runs at Torrey Pines Dog Park.

Owners are required to have ready access to a lead at all times as well as to keep their dogs leashed when entering and exiting the dog runs. Torrey Pines Dog Park is a public dog play haven. To permit as many people and their pooches to enjoy the grounds as possible, entrance to the premises is offered free of charge.

The runs are complete with many amenities sure to enhance Fido's day of fun at the dog park. Picnic tables with fabric coverings to provide shade and water access. Bathrooms for public use are also housed on the property. Also housed on the grounds for families to enjoy are a baseball diamond with artificial grass, picnic areas, barbecues, a large open field, and a concession stand where snacks and drinks can be purchased.

Visitors to this park space note that in recent years the grass has been left untended, leaving behind an abundance of sand, dirt, and gravel. It is unknown if poop bags are provided; however, it is the responsibility of all owners to display proper pet ownership by cleaning up after their pets.

Some owners have remarked that the park has become quite dirty, and many owners are neglecting to promptly remove and dispose of their pets' waste, resulting in a park that is lacking in cleanliness and hygiene. Torrey Pines Dog Park has not posted any official regulations regarding the use of their public dog playground.

To ensure all dogs are protected against the spread of disease, up to date vaccinations are recommended. Additionally, a current city dog license is suggested. Looking for a great new park to explore? Plan a visit to Torrey Pines Dog Park!
