Uptown Dog Park

If your fave canine pal is looking for the pawrfect spot for a day of fun, why not bring him to Uptown Dog Park? This pawsitively awesome doggy playground is a favorite destination for people and their pooches looking for their next pawrific adventure. Uptown Dog Park was originally just one small fenced space located within the family fur-iendly Scherer Park. Still found in the same location, this woofderful place was so pawpular that the park officials decided to expand it to give pupperonis a bigger space to pawrty in! 

Uptown Dog Park sports a fenced play space which is divided into two sections to allow the littlest of puppers to have a spot to call their own. Off-leash play is the name of the game at Uptown Dog Park! Your main canine squeeze can meet new doggy fur-iends and have the time of his life frolicking, roughhousing, and running to his heart's content at this pawsome place. Just be sure to pack a lead as you will need it when you are coming to and from the dog runs. 

Recent renovations include the addition of some barking awesome benches under well-shaded trees in case you want to take a load off and watch your dog showing off with his best canine buds. Cleanup bags are also provided. Unfortunately, there is no water access at Uptown Dog Park, so you will want to bring some with you from home to be sure that Fido can wet his whistle when the urge strikes. You'll want to be certain not to pack any food items as they are prohibited at this park. Also forbidden are spike collars and glass containers. All doggoes joining the pawrty time at Uptown Dog Park must wear tags showing current immunizations and a city dog license on their collars.
