During your time at the Veterans Memorial Park, you will find many different amenities that are available for your enjoyment. There are many different campsites, restrooms, picnic tables, picnic shelters, grills, firepits, a basketball court, a playground, a grass area, available water, and areas for hiking.
Your furry friend can come to the Veterans Memorial Park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay, and pups must be in a tent or a car when the evening time hits. When you come and visit the Veterans Memorial Park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the Monterey officials.
Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home. Dogs must be well-mannered before they come to this park as the Veterans Memorial Park does not tolerate any destructive behavior, and humans must pick up and watch over their pooches while they are here.
Humans should also carry water and dog bags for all of their fun times in this park. Reservations are required for camping. You can make a reservation on the park's main website or in the park's main office. If you are in the Monterey region of Northern California, make sure to check out this park. It is quite the fabulous area, and people say nothing but good things about the popular Veterans Memorial Park.
