This fabulous park is perfect for humans and pups, thanks to its open and spacious area, and its more secluded shaded space to explore. The main center of the park can be accessed from off-street parking comprised of wood and gravel. Once inside, the park opens up to a grassy and sandy space lined with gumbo limbo and palm trees. An asphalt path connects to features such as a playground, a fenced-in basketball court, a picnic pavilion, restrooms, and picnic tables. Heading past these features and into the grassy field, you'll come up to the edge of the park right on the shore, which offers a gorgeous view of the bay.
This part of the park only takes up about a third of the space, with more than half of the eastern side made up of thick trees. A small sandy path follows along the southern portion of the park into the trees and connects to other picnic pavilions with water fountains and trash bins. The sandy trail path is completely covered in shade and loops through the forest, giving you and Fido a secluded area to explore and walk around. Bring along water to share, and clean up bags to keep this pawsome area looking its best.
This green gem offers plenty of space and amenities that make heading out and walking Fido a pleasure to do instead of a chore.
