Watkins Woolen Mill State Park

Located in Lawson, Missouri, this lovely recreational area and campground sits beside the Watkins Woolen Mill Historic Site, the home of a preserved 19th-century wool mill. The mill has been declared a National Historic Landmark and draws a lot of interested visitors each year. Tours of the grounds are conducted daily for $4. 

This pawrific park is home to a 100-acre lake which teems with bass, sunfish, crappie, and catfish, making it a haven for avid fishermen. Your dog is welcome to join you at Watkins Woolen Mill State Park, on a leash of no greater than six feet in length at all times. Dogs also need to be current on vaccinations and have a city dog license. Be sure to bring drinking water to share with your adventure pup, and clean up bags, and pick up whatever your dog lays down. Human restrooms are available.
