West Kendale Lakes Park

It’s about that time again! Your pup is giving you the ‘I need to go out for a walk’ look, so why not make it an extra fun excursion and take them to West Kendall Lakes Park in the city of Miami? You will enjoy some time together and get in a bit of exercise as well.

You will find this park in the Kendall West neighborhood. Parking is a breeze here with a dedicated lot just for the park, located across from the West Kendale Lakes Golf Course. Leave your car and head out with your pup on leash.

The park offers a beautiful place to walk your pup, along a walkway designed for just such a purpose. This short path will allow you to loop around the park without having to go too far. It is perfect for elderly pups who can’t really travel too far. There is lots of grass in the park where Fido will definitely need to roll. Park benches where you can sit to just relax and enjoy the views are conveniently situated under the shade of the many mature trees. If you can stay for an extended visit, there is a pup-friendly walking and bike trail which meanders around the entire golf course just across the street. 

Other amenities include a small children’s playground which has a sand base where you can watch the kiddos having a good time.  A picnic table is perfect for a luncheon with your furever friend. Be sure to bring plenty of water to share, and clean up mitts to keep this park pristine for others to enjoy as well.
