This park features enclosures for small and large dogs. A third of an acre is dedicated to pups weighing 25 pounds or less, with a football field-sized play area reserved for use by bigger doggoes. Both areas are off-leash zones, so your pooch can frolic, play, socialize, and create general mayhem all without the need for a lead. What could be more fun? But you will still need to bring along a leash to Wildcatters Dog Park as city by-laws do require that pooches be on a lead when travelling to and from off-leash areas.Â
This pawrific doggy playground offers benches in areas with lots of shade provided from new and old tree growth. Here, you can rest your weary bones while your pooch has a ball with their canine buds in the enclosures. Drinking water and dog bowls are provided inside the play areas; however, you will need to bring doggy bags with you from home to cleanup your pup's waste.Â
Wildcatters Dog Park also has furrific picnic areas where you and your fave pooch can enjoy a light meal or snack. You will need to pack some food to bring along with you as none is available for sale at this pawsome play space. It is also important to note that from 7 AM to noon on Thursdays, this park is closed for cleaning and maintenance.Â
Ready for your next doggone great California adventure? Consider a trip to Wildcatters Dog Park! Your doggo will thank you for it!Â
