The trails wind their way around the LeClaire-Hearst Community Park. There are over 12 acres to explore and there is a loop path, as well as numerous spurs which take you in different directions throughout the grounds. Your pup will enjoy choosing a path to walk on, all of which are paved and easily traversed by any fitness-level pup! Take some time to sit on the provided benches to take a rest from your walk and don’t forget to visit the many amenities the park has to offer. There are beautifully-landscaped grounds, which Fido will most certainly enjoy rolling and romping on, and many shade trees to keep you both cool during those hot, humid summer days!

Check out the community garden while you are there and see what area residents are growing this season! There is a fieldhouse with restrooms and drinking fountains, sports courts and fields and of course, a playground for the kiddos. Leashes are mandatory, and cleaning up after your pup will ensure a good time for all and is a way to keep these trails forever pup-friendly! Bring clean up bags, and water to share!
