If you begin the trail at Battle Creek Regional Park, one of the first sights you’ll pass is the historic Indian Mounds Park. This park is home to an ancient Native American burial ground. Upper Landing Park also has a great lawn to relax on.

After you pass by Upper Landing Park, you’ll reach the pawesome High Bridge Dog Park! This off-leash dog park is located right off the Sam Morgan Regional Trail, and it features one big fenced area where pups can run, play, and make new friends. Your pup will love playing in this park!

Once your dog is finished playing, put their leash back on and continue down the trail. As you walk down the last part of the trail, you’ll pass by scenic Crosby Farm Regional Park, which is home to a beautiful lake. After that, you’ll go by the Waterfront Marina. Then, you’ll reach the eastern end of the trail at Two Rivers Overlook. Here, you’ll get a stunning view of the delta where the Mississippi River meets the Minnesota River.
