My Perfect Pet offers two human-grade fresh cat food varieties.

Only My Perfect Pet's Toby's Turkey Carnivore Blend meets the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) nutrient profile guidelines for all life stages. 

My Perfect Pet's Low Phosphorus Chicken Carnivore Blend is for supplemental feeding only unless directed by a veterinarian. It doesn't meet AAFCO guidelines because it's too low in phosphorus.

Toby's Turkey Carnivore Blend is My Perfect pet's standard cat food. This recipe includes only turkey thigh and breast — no meat meals to be found here! Plus, My Perfect Pet is working to ensure all its meat comes only from welfare-certified farms. 

Toby's Turkey Carnivore Blend consists of only four main ingredients: turkey, sweet potatoes, spinach, and cranberries. Sweet potato is a dietary fiber source, while cranberries are rich in antioxidants. Spinach is rich in vitamins A, K, and E and is an excellent magnesium, calcium, and potassium source.

Highly digestible and with limited ingredients, Toby's Turkey Carnivore Blend is great for cats with food allergies and sensitivities. 

Toby's Turkey Carnivore Blend contains 57.2% protein as dry matter, which is above average for fresh cat food.

My Perfect Pet's Low Phosphorus Chicken Carnivore Blend is specially designed for cats with kidney conditions like kidney disease. This recipe consists of six chief ingredients: chicken, potato, sweet potato, chicken liver, spinach, and cranberries.

Potatoes aren't a good ingredient for cat food — they have modest nutritional value and are high in carbohydrates. The inclusion of sweet potatoes and potatoes in this recipe is puzzling, as cats with kidney issues need diets that are as low in carbs as possible.

This recipe is largely the same as Toby's Turkey Carnivore Blend. It's loaded with vitamin C and selenium to give your cat an immune boost — which is welcome if your cat has a kidney condition. 

My Perfect Pet's Low Phosphorus Chicken Carnivore Blend contains 44.5% protein as dry matter, lower than the amount found in Toby's Turkey Carnivore Blend.

My Perfect Pet recommends you feed your cat one bar per 10 lbs of weight. An average adult house cat weighs around 10 lbs. That means each meal you feed your cat will cost approximately $3.40. 

As a fresh food that contains no preservatives, My Perfect Pet cat food must be kept frozen and thawed before mealtimes. My Perfect Pet states that you can refrigerate its food for 3 to 5 days. As a result, you'll need to ensure you have space to store your My Perfect Pet delivery and that you thaw food out in advance. 

My Perfect Pet only offers two cat food varieties — one of which is a specialty food for cats with kidney conditions. So, if your cat is fussy and doesn't like turkey, or they have a turkey or poultry allergy, they won't be able to chow down on My Perfect Pet cat food.

My Perfect Pet's founder, Karen Neola, started making her own pet food after her dog Hunter suddenly became ill in 2006. Hunter sadly passed away due to contaminated pet food linked to the largest pet food recall in history.

Upset and angry about losing her best friend, Karen lost all trust in commercial pet food brands. So, she began making her own, with the help of animal nutritionists and research, to create the best possible nutrient blends. 

In 2007, My Perfect Pet launched its "cooked frozen" dog foods — the first ever commercially available "cooked frozen" dog food. In 2023, US-based pet care brand Antelope purchased My Perfect Pet. 

My Perfect Pet cat food has never been recalled at the time of writing.
