In the bustling heart of downtown Dallas, Texas, there is a great little neighborhood known as the Convention District. With the closeness of this major city, it comes as no surprise that there are plenty of businesses and restaurants in the area. Although this does not help much when it comes to wanting more natural views, it is extremely convenient for your day to day errands and can give you some extra time to spend doing what you love to do.

This convenience also extends to pet services where the options are plentiful. With this many options, you are almost guaranteed to find the perfect place for your pup with great customer service. However, in such a populated area, it is always wise to review online ratings before trying a new pet place because you may end up somewhere lacking. Uptown Dog is a great place to start with the highest rating in the area.

The Convention Center District of downtown Dallas is very typical of a Dallas-Fort Worth area neighborhood due to the fact that it is very flat and artificial. Within the neighborhood itself, there are crowded rows of houses with very little change in incline and virtually no natural views. However, there are two saving graces of the area that keep residents from complete boredom.

The first large help is the massive local Trammell Crow Park. This long line of greenery following the Trinity River mostly provides a beautiful green space to enjoy the outdoors, but also adds some hilly areas to the mix if you're willing to hunt them down. The second helpful key in this area is the long list of neighborhood parks that are constantly being added to and maintained under the watchful eye of local government officials. These safe and fun parks are a great place for a peaceful dog walk.

When it comes to greenery, this area is obviously lacking as a whole. However, thanks to the local government initiative to create and maintain neighborhood parks, the parks that are present are very nice to look at, fun for the whole family, and a safe place to take your furry friend.

Although this initiative simply started as a way to integrate more nature back into the DFW area, the strong sense of community these parks brought to the suburbs that surrounded them has really helped put pride back into the residents of these areas. This sense of belonging has caused more residents than ever before to really take pride in their own yards which helps greatly in improving the aesthetic of the entire area.

One great example of this is Lubben Plaza Park which holds several modern art installations. Belo Garden is a more unique but great park to visit right in the middle of downtown Dallas.
