Coombs Creek runs through the park and the Coombs Creek Trail runs along it in both directions. This trail is a 1.5-mile long, hard-surfaced path and shared with pedestrians and cyclists that provides access to the Trinity River Levee. Rumor has it that the trail is haunted!
The Trinity River, associated ravine, Trinity Overlook Park, and greenways along the waterways are located to the east. The Trinity Skyline Trail is 5 miles in length, paved, and wheelchair accessible. The trail provides access to other parks such as Trammell Crow Park where recreational facilities and access to the 6.2-mile Trinity Level Loop can be found.
