Geographically, Seaview is part of Seattle, but its location gives it an entirely different feel. It has been called a small fishing village which is indicative of its isolated nature. The area has a lot of beautiful homes, but it is also home to smaller family houses and makes a perfect getaway from the urban city to its north.
California Avenue on the eastern boundary of Seaview is where you will find the retail area in this neighborhood. Grabbing a coffee or a bite to eat won’t happen unless you are close to this part of Seaview, but what you give up in convenience, you more than make up for in solitude. To the north and near the coast is Me-Kwa-Mooks Park, which is a minimally developed park with great views and a few trails for you and Fido to explore. There is also a small stretch of beach attached to it if you want to wander down near the water.
To the south of Seaview, you will find a few smaller greenways and Lincoln Park. All of these will probably require a car to get to, but Lincoln Park is quite large and has almost five miles of hiking trails and nearly four miles of bike paths to explore. The hiking trails are dirt and in densely wooded areas, providing the perfect environment for a stroll with your pup, especially if they are feeling hungry for a bit of nature.
