About the caregiver

Hello! My name is Heather and I am energetic, enthusiastic, and excited to meet your dog! My family had dogs since I was 6 years old and I’ve found as many chances I can to work with dogs ever since. In undergrad I had an opportunity to work with a team to train mental health therapy dogs which opened my eyes to how dogs learn, feel, and communicate with us. I aim to build a positive relationship with dogs so they’re just as excited to see me as I am to see them when it’s time for our walk.
