About the caregiver

I’m Jake, and I’m grateful you’d consider letting me spend some time with your pup! I’m a Master of Social Work student at Loyola Chicago, hoping to get in some doggy time and make some extra cash. I grew up wanting to be a veterinarian, so I’ve spent years working at a pet shop, volunteering at the zoo, shadowing vets, and working at animal hospitals, where my sole role was walking, feeding, cleaning up after, etc. animals and people’s pets! Before college, I also owned fish, snakes, parrots, a sugar glider, a rat, and probably something else! My family now has a wonderful yellow lab named Toby. I’m comfortable and have had experience around animals of all sorts—especially dogs of all temperaments—and look forward to providing your pets the most loving care. I’m also a runner and would love to take your dog for a jog if you’d like them to move a little extra energy!
