About the caregiver

Hi! My name is Shakira and I love animals. I have had a pet chihuahua, turtle, frog and bird (all family pets) I moved out on my own 2 years ago and have been enjoying fostering dogs recovering from medical procedures such as heart worm surgery and spay/neuter surgery. I have volunteered at a number of dog and cat shelters over the years and have fallen in love with meeting and helping new pets!
