There's another park in the area which you definitely shouldn't miss called Caloosa Park. This park is full of natural beauty and animals. Some visitors have even seen snakes, iguanas and alligators!

Delray Beach

There is only one dog park in Delray Beach, but luckily it’s a great park. The Lake Ida Dog Park is extremely clean and well-maintained. It is full of energetic dogs and friendly dog owners. Furthermore, the park has plenty of benches, shaded areas and doggie water bowls. However, the park can get pretty busy at times so if you want to avoid the rush, try going earlier in the day, especially on weekdays. If you drive a mere 7.7 miles to Lake Worth from Boynton Beach, you can take your prized pooch to the pawsome Dreher Dog Park. The park itself is split up into sides, one for big dogs and the other for small dogs. It's part of the larger Okeeheelee Park, which spans over 1700 acres! Leash up your pup and explore this vast park. The other dog park, Howard Park, is one of the grassiest parks you will ever go to. And the best part? Perhaps because Boca Raton is a top tourist destination and extremely close to the beach, it only has one dog park. It is approximately t30 minutes from Boynton Beach, but well worth the drive.
