Central Spring Hill
The gorgeous Rotary Centennial Dog Park is just a short drive west from Spring Lake. It is a rather large park that has a lot of fun things for your puppy to get his paws into. There are rocks for them to climb, tunnels for them to run through, and a large amount of open field for them to sprint and chase. This park is next to a large pond that you both may enjoy at your convenience. There are pavilions, picnic tables, and plenty of shade for having barbecues and get-togethers with family, friends, and other fur babies.36

Plantation Palms
Just outside the Plantation Palms neighborhood is Land O Lakes Dog Park, part of the recreation complex. This is a great place for the whole family to spend a day out. You can bring lunch and enjoy a cookout while the kids are playing on the playground or skate park, and the other kids of the furry variety are running around and sniffing everything. This is an off-leash park that designates areas for little dogs and big dogs, but provides areas for all dogs as well. There are also multiple ball fields the kids can play in as well.24

Lutz
The Carolyn Meeker Park is designed with dogs in mind. It has separate areas for small and large dogs, an ample play area, and plenty of obstacles they can distract themselves with. It is fenced in for safety. There is also a playground next to the dog area so you can bring your kids so everyone can get some exercise in. The pet parents who frequent this park are wonderful and responsible people that help keep the area clean. This is a great park to spend an evening howling at the moon if you wish.12

Zephyr Pines
The Meadowood Paw Park is just a few minutes south of Spring Lake. It has a very large play area with lots of obstacles for dogs and humans, too. You can let your pal off their leash here so they can stretch their paws. The many wonderful pet parents have told amazing stories and tails about this pawsome park. It is very clean and well-kept by pet parents and the city. You can enjoy the multiple picnic tables, pavilions, and the other outdoor furniture while you have lunch and watch your dog run circles around everything.
