West Payette
If your pup is begging for a walk, grab his leash and pay a visit to Centennial Park. This park sits on the banks of the Snake River and boasts beautiful green lawns and shade trees. Take a couple laps around the field so your pooch can get his daily exercise. Find a spot under a tree and munch on some snacks or throw a ball for your pup. If he’s still rearing to go, follow the Payette River Greenbelt. This dirt path runs parallel to the river and passes through some shrubs and trees. If he gets too warm, he can dip his paws in the cool river water.

Since it sits right on the west banks of the Snake River, it is a pup-ular area for boating, fishing, and swimming. Your four legged buddy will love wandering through the cottonwood and juniper trees. If she gets a little hot under the collar, she can splash or swim in the water. Although there are no rapids near the park, the river current can still be strong, so make sure she stays near the shore.
