Fox River Grove
Fox River Grove includes a shopping district, some restaurants, a middle school, and residential areas. This neighborhood has quiet streets with sidewalks where you and Fido can take a little stroll together. For a special treat, take your pup up to Picnic Grove Park on the Fox River. This 30-acre facility has open fields where you and your four-footed friend can get some exercise. Bring your boat and cast out on the river with your pal. Dogs are permitted in designated parts of the park as long as you keep them on a leash. Bring along waste bags to pick up any waste.36

Cuba
The rural neighborhood of Cuba in Lake Barrington is just southeast of Fox River Grove. Here, you and Fido can take a walk down tree-lined roads. When you want to go on an outdoor adventure with your special pal, head to Spring Lake Forest Preserve, located about eight miles south of Cuba. There's a parking lot off E. Penny Road by the pond. Hike or jog along the trails that wind past serene lakes and through the forest. Dogs are permitted here as long as you keep them on a leash at all times. The village of Trout Valley is across the river and to the northwest of Fox River Grove. This residential development has single-family homes in a wooded area. When you want to get off the pavement and wander through the woods, head west to the Fox Bluff Conservation Area. There are trails that wind through the woods and wetlands of this 279-acre property. The park itself includes two ponds and a hiking trail through the woods on the west side of Lexington Avenue.
