Westfield Town Center

When in Westfield, you are sure to be spoiled by nature. Not far from the heart of the town center are a handful of parks you must visit with your pup. Have a wooftacular time exploring the woody walking and biking trails at Freedom Trail Park. Don’t forget your lunch bag at home, as the park is equipped with picnic areas, benches, and tables. Don’t have a whole day free? Take your pup to Asa Bales Park for a quick one-mile walk around the park’s trail. Before leaving the town center, make sure to grab some delicious crab rangoons at Super Bowl Pho. Enjoy them with Fido at one of their 20+ outdoor tables!

Rohrer Meadows

What?! You’re out of doggie treats? Then a trip to Westfield’s neighboring town is a must. Carmel is a very short drive away and offers you and Fido tons of fur-friendly pawptions. Stock up on everything Fido related at Moochie & Co. This animal-loving shop goes the whole nine yards to treat your pup right. Pet owners beware: you just might be leaving with extra toys and treats than originally planned! Now that you’ve treated your pal, grab a tasty snack for yourself at Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream & Yogurt and enjoy your treats alongside each other out on their pup-friendly patio.

Carmel Arts & Design District

While you’re in Carmel, visit the downtown Carmel Arts & Design District to chow down on some furtastic cuisine. You have a pawful of options to choose from, but you should first try Mundoon’s for its hearty Irish menu and pooch-adoring staff who are happy to welcome furry customers! Another great pawption is Mudbug’s Cajun Cafe, loved for its spicy creole-cajun menu! Make sure to save a spot for the beignets sprinkled with powdered sugar. If your doggo doesn’t like sugar, spice (and everything nice) then try out Tina’s Traditional Old English Kitchen for a pawsitively fun time tasting different styles of afternoon tea, biscuits and pastries. Lochaven

If you cut through the country between Carmel and Westfield, you’re likely to stumble upon Dr. James A. Dillon Park, located just southwest of Westfield’s other neighbor, Noblesville. This near 78 acre park offers a skate park, playgrounds, walking trails, a spray ground, athletic fields, and more. Pups are welcome to enjoy the park’s amenities as long as they keep their human guides on a leash (kidding)! A pit stop here offers a day of relaxation. Not to mention, pooch-friendly Scotty’s Brewhouse is just across the street and serves up casual beers and juicy burgers. Grab a seat out on their patio to dine alongside your pup!

Old Town Noblesville

Wag your way into the old town center of Noblesville for a paw-leasant stay with your pup. Check in at the Super 8 Noblesville (big pups allowed!) before enjoying your afternoon exploring Noblesville on foot, err, paw. Grab a local bite to eat at Courtney’s Kitchen for fresh salads, sandwiches, sliders, burgers and homemade pies. Their outdoor patio is a wonfurful place to dine with the canine when it’s nice and warm out! Finish up your day with an evening stroll around the multi-use trails at the White River Noblesville-Greenway. The Rails-to-Trails Conservancy has provided maps showing everywhere you can walk Fido in Noblesville!
