Wildwood

The city of Wildwood is eleven miles north of Gray Summit, which is a short trip to a tail-waggin' good time at Happy Hounds Playground! This private dog amusement park has ten fully fenced acres for dogs' leash free exercise and socialization. Happy Hounds provides the small dogs with their own playground, too. This dog park also features nature trails for people and their dogs to enjoy. It even provides splash pads that cool down a hot hound in the summer months! A pond lets dogs take a plunge for from the dock or enjoy a swim. This dog park requires membership and a monthly fee.  It is open from sunrise to sunset.

South Point

The South Point neighborhood of Washington is located thirteen miles west of Gray Summit. South Point Bark Park gives a cooped-up pup a place to run off some energy! The dog park provides almost two acres of grassy space that are fully fenced for some safe, off-leash exercise. Dogs of all sizes and breeds mingle here. The dog park lacks some amenities, like water. Seating for the human companions is very limited, but large shade trees help on those hotter days.A handy waste station supplies doggie bags for those necessary pickups. The community actively fundraises to assist with updating the dog park's amenities. A separate small dog area, water, and a pavilion are all on the drawing board!

Washington City Center

The city of Washington is located thirteen miles west of Gray Summit. Burger Park on International Avenue can be a pup's big adventure for the day! This seasonal dog run has a grassy space reserved for your pup's fun and is fully fenced and double-gated to keep everyone safe. A pup will find plenty of new pals in this dog run, which only features one area for dogs of all sizes to play together. The dog run has water available. Seats for the human companions are lacking, but waste bags are supplied. This dog run is free and open to the public from dawn to dusk.

Ballwin

Ballwin is located eighteen miles north of Gray Summit. Tails & Trails Dog Park in  Queeny Park has five fenced acres that beg a person and a pup to explore! The dog park has a separately fenced spot for the small dogs, too. The dog park features four pieces of agility equipment, as well as plenty of grass and trees which add beauty and good smells for Fido. Human companions can sit on benches under shade trees, or if they prefer, they can head to the pavilion, which supplies Wi-Fi for its visitors. The dog park has a creek and a small lake for some splashin' fun and cooling down in those summer months. This dog park requires registration and a fee to St. Louis County.

Sunset Hills

Sunset Hills is located 26 miles east of Gray Summit. This easy highway trek will put a bit of pep into the step of even the oldest pooch! Kitun Dog Park has two acres of grassy space dedicated to a pup's leash-free exercise and play. Several pieces of agility equipment make it an ideal spot for some extra training, too. A separately fenced section of the dog park is set aside for small dogs. The dog park provides drinking fountains for people and their furry pals. Plenty of shaded seats make it pleasant for the human companions on those summer days. Registration with the city of Sunset Hills is required to use the dog park.
