Heath Vlg & Schooleys Mountain Rd
Long Valley is located five miles west of Chester. Long Valley Dog Park has some perks for a pooch with a person who wants the best for their fur-baby! This ruffly one-acre, fully fenced dog park has a single playground for all pups needing liberty from that leash. Agility equipment, including A-frames, beams, and hoops, is designed for your dog's workout. No water is available on-site, but waste stations are stocked with doggie waste bags for easy clean-ups. Plastic chairs help the human companions rest while their doggos socialize with their pack pals. This dog park requires registration and a small fee to the Association which manages it.36

Town Center
Randolph is located nine miles north of Chester. Randolph Township Dog Park has a fully fenced yard for your pup to shed the leash and get some exercise. All sizes of canines are welcome to run at Randolph -- the dog park has no separately fenced spot for smaller dogs. Various pieces of agility equipment make this park the pawfect place for curious pooches and those in training. The surface is a gray stone mulch that doesn't get muddy even after a driving rain. Many large trees give shade to people watching their pups play. A water fountain keeps dogs and their human folk hydrated. This dog park is only available for residents of Randolph.24

Morristown
Morristown is located thirteen miles east of Chester. Lewis Morris Dog Park can be found in the very pupular Lewis Morris County Park. Pups love the place! This fully fenced dog park has separately fenced areas for large and small dogs. Its surface is paved and the clattering of nails is music to most ears -- both furry and not-so-much. Some of the furless folks have noted they don't like the paved surface, but it's no problem for the pups. The dog park does not have water, but the main park has restrooms that will save a trip if you forget to bring some. Trees surround the enclosures and benches keep most people as content as their canines.12

Pluckemin
The Pluckemin neighborhood in Bedminster is located ten miles south of Chester. Burnt Mills Dog Parks gets the bark out for dogs that need to roll in some grass, play in the great outdoors, or just socialize with some same puppy peers. This fully fenced half-acre accommodates all dogs. Folks with smaller or timid dogs must take additional care to supervise their four-legged family members. The dog park doesn't provide water, but waste stations usually have plenty of doggie waste baggies to help keep the place tidy. The dog park is free and open to the public.
