Deepwater
Deepwater is tucked in by US Highway 295 and the New Jersey Turnpike. In this small neighborhood, you can walk your dog along residential streets. When you want to get some exercise and fresh air, head across the Delaware River to Rockwoood Park & Museum in Wilmington, located about 14.3 miles northwest of town. This 72-acre English-style estate includes a park with more than two miles of trails. Walk or jog with your pup through the park and gardens. Dogs on a leash are welcome to join you here. Make sure you bring along bags to pick up any waste.36

Harrisonville
Harrisonville is a small neighborhood in Pennsville Township that's located about six miles south of Deepwater. Here, you can stroll along quiet country lanes and wooded roads. If you're looking for a furriffic area to explore nature with your special pal, head to the Supawna Meadows National Wildlife Refuge located along the Delaware River. This wetland habitat includes a forest habitat trail and a grassland trail where you and your pooch can get some exercise and view a variety of wildlife. Dogs are allowed as long as they're on a short leash and you clean up their waste. Make sure you bring water with you.24

Pennsville
Pennsville is located about five miles south of Deepwater along the Delaware River. This populated area features residential streets, a commercial district, and an elementary school. You and Fido can walk down the sidewalk past single-family homes here. When you want to get out and enjoy some green space, take your pup to Fort Mott State Park. This 124-acre facility that's located on the Delaware River includes a nature trail. Walk through the woods and fields and catch scenic views of the river from the shoreline. Just two miles north of Deepwater, the community of Carneys Point Township includes residential areas, undeveloped wetlands, and a golf course. This facility includes ball fields, open spaces, and a walking trail. Hike or jog around the park with your furry pal.
