This dog-friendly neighborhood is located about 20 miles northeast from Elbridge, New York. It is home to the Wegmans Good Dog Park, which will provide a fun-filled day for your pooch. There are two options for you and your pooch when you visit this free dog park. The first option is the off-leash, fenced-in dog areas. The areas are separated by size and include an obstacle course and a large dog run, which is made of gravel. The second option is the dog walk paths that are available for you and your pup. If you are walking your pooch on this path, he needs to be on his leash. This walking path is paved and goes for about 5 miles around the lake. There are also waste disposal bags provided at different stations along the way. Make sure to bring along some water for you and your pooch.

If you are looking to bond with your pup, look no farther than this neighborhood. It is located about 25 minutes from Elbridge, New York and is home to Onondaga Lake Park. This park is perfect for you and your pooch. There is fun to be had at the off-leash park, and then there are miles of on-leash walking trails available to you and your pup. The surfaces of the trail include asphalt, stone, and concrete, which is important to keep in mind on hot days so that your pup’s paws don’t get too hot. This trail is an old rail line that is part of Rails-To-Trails. You will want to bring water and some bags for clean-up. There is plenty of shade, and all you will need is your canine friend’s leash to enjoy this nature walk.
