For a delightful park, head to Talleyrand Park in the neighborhood of Coleville. You and your pooch can meander along the west bank of Spring Creek, or you can grab a picnic in the open fields. This 3.5-acre park includes an edible landscape and butterfly gardens for your enjoyment.  If you want to get some exercise with your special pal, take advantage of the paved loop. Follow the bridge over the water to Big Spring and circle back to the waterfront. Your canine companion is welcome to accompany you provided you keep him on a leash and clean up any messes.

The downtown district of Bellefonte is a wonderful place to visit with your pup. Pick up a Historical Walking Tour of Bellefonte Map from the Chamber of Commerce office in The Train Station and take a walk through town. Learn about this city's rich history as you stroll through the area. Take time to explore the waterfront area on the former site of the Bush House. Your four-footed friend is welcome to join you on a leash.  When you want to get a special treat for your canine pal, head to Bone Bar & Boutique on High Street. This local shop offers toys, homemade treats, and a variety of accessories.

In the East End of Bellefonte, you and Fido can head to Governor's Park. In this 43-acre area, you and your furry friend will be able to catch a ball game or explore the fields and wooded areas. There are paths where for you and Fido to go hiking or jogging for a little exercise. Just remember to keep your pal on a leash at all times while exploring this park. Since it's not a dog park, you'll also need to bring your own supplies, like doggie waste bags and drinking water. Meet up with some friends and enjoy a picnic at this pawesome park!

Parkview Heights is a puptastic place where you can get out and enjoy the Parkview Heights Park. Head over to this ten-acre facility and go exploring with your four-footed friend. Catch a teen-league baseball game, or wander through the open fields in the park. Canine companions are permitted to join you here provided they're on a leash and owners make sure to pick up any waste. After getting your exercise, take your pup to Bonfatto's Restaurant and Lounge for a pizza, cheesesteak, salad, pasta, or some barbecue. Your dog is free to lounge at your feet when you eat at one of the establishment's outdoor tables.
Big Spring

Big Spring

Located near the downtown business district, the neighborhood of Big Spring includes Joseph Masullo Memorial Park. This site, nestled on three sides by Spring Creek, was once known as Bellefonte's dog park. Here you'll find open fields, a picnic area, and access to the water. Walk along the creek with your furry friend, or bring along your fishing pole and cast from the shoreline. Dogs are welcome to join you in the park as long as they're on a leash. Don't forget those essential supplies, including drinking water, doggie waste bags, and towels. Oh, and bring Fido's favorite toy, too!
