The Highlands Golf Course is located in central Bella Vista. Found just off of Glasgow Road, it is only three miles from Loch Lomond. The course itself is the longest course in Bella Vista and is an 18-hole course.
The staff here are really helpful and friendly. The clubhouse also hosts a restaurant, bar, and pro shop. Here at the restaurant, there is a grab and go section, which is perfect for taking a walk while supplying you both with food and beverages along the way. While dogs may not be directly allowed on the course itself, the neighborhoods around it will provide plenty of easy walking for the both of you.
The weather in Arkansas and around the Highlands Golf Course is mild and typically pleasant all year round, with four distinct, yet temperate seasons. Spring is the perfect time to walk your little pooch, with mild weather that warms towards the afternoons.
A nearby attraction to the golf course in which your pooch is also welcome is the Rush Springs Ranch. This is an off-roading centre ten miles from the Highlands Golf Course. The ranch hosts a densely filled wood in which winding mud roads carve out the terrain, making it a great contrast to the well kept golf course. This makes the ranch the perfect place to finish a great day out because you can let your pup off the leash to exert the last of his energy before returning home.
The golf course is also surrounded by numerous other golf courses which are based on the natural Bella Vista terrain. This makes it perfect area to walk your pup if you like the well kept natural atheistic that golf courses provide. Visiting each one will give you and your pooch endless amounts of enjoyment, but be sure to check the rules and regulations of each course to ensure that bringing a dog is allowed.
