Wembly is surrounded by thick, mature forests. The ground slopes down gently to the shallow Valley between Wembly and the next town. If you and your dog are dedicated hikers you may be able to get through, especially in the winter when leaves are fewer.
If you are not up for heavy hiking, you can still enjoy some views of the forest by walking along the streets of Wembly. The streets slope sufficiently for you to enjoy wheeled running with your dog on your skateboard, rollerblades, or a bike. Plenty of grassy lawns mean that you can get off the road and slow down before hitting a tree in most of Wembly.
Some roads suddenly become much steeper, so be sure that you know where you are going if you do not have brakes on your device.
Houses in Wembly are relatively sparse, and the forest between them is thick and mature. Especially in the canyons between Wembly and the neighborhoods on either side of it, you have a great chance of seeing interesting wildlife. Wildlife seeks out such canyons both to find shelter from the cold winter winds and to get out of the view of people in the houses above the canyon. These canyons also provide thoroughfares from one area of forest to the other without interference from buildings.
While hiking through the woods can be tough, since the woods are incredibly thick especially in the summertime, you will be rewarded with views of true Arkansas forest and the amazing wildlife it contains.
Even if you are not dedicated to a hard hike, there is a great chance that you can spot some beautiful wildlife from the roads of Wembly. Since houses are so sparse, there are plenty of areas where the woods run right up to the road. Sunny places are rare in this area, so animals seeking the sunshine or some grass may well seek out the roadside where you can spot them.
