This residential neighborhood is exclusive, as it features no thru roads, and traffic is local. Creekstone features large beautiful homes and well-developed landscaping. There are lots of magnificent homes and gardens to enjoy when walking through Creekstone. The area has sidewalks to keep people and dogs separate from local traffic, and grassy boulevards provide a cool place for your pup to keep his feet off hot pavement on summer days. The area has some hills, so make sure you bring good walking shoes if you're going to be venturing far, to provide some ankle support. There are lots great views of surrounding wilderness and rural areas from this hilly neighborhood, and the varied terrain makes for some enjoyable vistas. There are commercial areas to the west to visit on walks, as well as a developed wilderness area with a paved trail for your enjoyment. The nearby creek area makes for some rougher terrain. You can decide whether you and your pooch want to stick to paved sidewalks and trails or venture through some rougher natural areas nearer the creek.

Creekstone is bordered to the west by McKisic creek, which features natural trees, open areas, and a winding, substantial creek. The area also provides well-developed trails. There is plenty of undeveloped wilderness area to the east of Creekstone for the more adventurous dog and handler to explore. Directly north of Creekstone, is Bella Vista Park, a 132-acre dog-friendly park with well-developed trails and a lake. The area can be reached with a bit of a hike on foot with your dog, if you and your dog are up for it. If you would rather save all your energy for the park, you can drive to the Bella Vista parking area and launch on your adventure from there. Bella Vista park has a doggie station for disposing of waste and restrooms as well as a picnic area. Creekstone is surrounded by lots of greenways and park areas that provide plenty of green walking opportunities for you and your furry friend.
