Parkwood is located right on the Town Beach Park. This park has a picturesque gazebo, picnic spots, and a dog station to dispose of your pup's waste. The park also provides access to the Razorback Greenway. 

The Town Branch Trail is part of this long greenway which is made up of 19 separate greenways, together providing a 36.7-mile trail from Bella Vista Lake to Walker Park in Fayetteville. Much of the Razorback Trail follows an old rail line and has a hard asphalt surface. This greenway is a multi-use trail and popular with cyclists, so watch out for two-wheeled traffic. The path takes you within easy reach of the Crystal Bridges Museum of Art, Pinnacle Hills Promenade, Lake Fayetteville, Lake Springdale, and Lake Bella Vista. 

Dave Peel Park is also located in Parkwood. This is a small park, 2 acres in size with a pavilion for shelter on hot, sunny days.
