American Bull Dogue De Bordeaux Breed Maintenance
The American Bull Dogue De Bordeaux is relatively low maintenance since both of its parents have short and smooth coats. Brushing them weekly with a grooming mitt is recommended in order to keep their coat clean and help get rid of loose hairs. To prevent the development of ear infections, keep them dry and clean. Try to gently clean their ears once a week. Besides caring for their coat and ears, these dogs will need to have their nails and dental hygiene maintained. Trim their nails as often as they need it, which will most likely be one or two times in a month. You will know that it is time to cut your dog’s nails if you can hear them clicking on the floor when they walk. If possible, it is ideal to brush your dog’s teeth every day. However, if you are unable to meet this commitment, once or twice per week should be enough.
